Program Policy

Google plays a significant role in the ad delivery for many publishers. As well as providing demand (through AdX and AdSense), they are often additionally handling the ad serving through DFP. Understanding Google policy and guidelines, and staying on top of the frequent changes help publishers prevent unexpected interruptions in ad serving, or even suspension from using Google monetisation products.

Policy clarification and updates on the OKO website

We regularly post about updates to Google policy changes that we think are most important to publishers. We accompany these with our own analysis to help cut through the often vague wording. We also highlight these in a free-to-all monthly newsletter, which is a great way to stay up to date of important changes.

We include expert policy guidance and support free for every publisher that we work with. We’re qualified as GCPP by Google, which makes us experts in publisher policy. We apply this expertise to pro-actively support our publishers in avoiding policy issues and also to provide dedicated support if problems do arise (where our own Google support network also really comes into its own).
